What
to Look for in Your Buying Agent

In
selecting your buying broker, ask two questions right off the bat:
1. Will you show MLS properties stipulating less than a 3% commission
to you?

2. Will you expand your property search to include FSBOs (For
Sale by Owners)?
If the
answer to EITHER question is "No," ask yourself if that's the buying
broker you'd want working for you. They're simple questions,
and you deserve simple, truthful, answers.

Many buying
agents do not insist upon a buyer's agency agreement and then try
and navigate their clients only through MLS-listed properties in
order that their commissions be guaranteed protected. We deploy a
different strategy. We DO insist upon
buyer's agency agreements. Why?
